Bless the Work of Mothers Union
‘Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.’
(Proverbs 1:8)
A good family, as designed by God, is the source of so much blessing.
Whatever jobs we have in life, a vital one is the task of raising children.
This verse from Proverbs reminds us of the role that both mother and father play.
Central to the task of Mothers Union throughout the world is the strengthening of Christian family life.
It is one of the most important ministries that we can be involved in.
Question for thought: Do I pray for the families in my life?
Heavenly Father, we give thanks for the Mothers Union in Northern Malawi.
Give them energy and resources as they reach out to families in both urban and rural communities
and seek to identify and respond to the challenges that individuals and families face.
We also pray for members in North West Australia and the branches in Geraldton and Carnarvon.
Encourage them in their isolation to not lose heart
but continue to grow in their love and knowledge of you. Amen
