Hands Across the World
‘Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ ’
(Galatians 6:2).
We thank God for the Mothers Union worldwide and in the care
that the members have for one another, especially in prayer.
Christ’s law is that we love each other. We can reach out our hands across
the globe to help and sustain the work that the Lord is doing through the Mothers Union.
In this way we can ‘carry each other’s burden’ with real love.
Question for thought: How can I be a blessing to Mothers Union members around the world?
Almighty and everlasting God, we are humbled to see the courage and faithfulness of Mothers Union
members across the world serving you often in face of opposition.
We pray for Matabeleland in Zimbabwe and give thanks that Mothers Union is a strong force in the community.
Guide them as they purposefully seek out to engage with those less privileged and most vulnerable.
We bring before you the Diocese of Wangaratta in Victoria and give thanks for the faithfulness of members,
praying for their many activities that your love will shine forth to your honour and glory. Amen.
