Diverse Relationships
‘Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.’
(Psalm 127:1)
From the very beginning, relationships have been integral to human fulfilment.
Children are truly blessed when they are able to grow up in a loving family.
Sometimes, for various reasons, a family is divided and often
the way for parents and children alike becomes very difficult.
But wherever we are, whatever our circumstances,
it remains true that we need to turn to the Lord, seek his aid and trust him.
Only he can build our home and he can take the most difficult circumstances and turn them for good.
Question for thought: Do I pray constantly for my family and trust the Lord?
Heavenly Father, we pray for our members in Cyangugu Diocese in Rwanda as they respond to local needs
especially through the parenting program, marriage preparation and counselling.
We pray also for ongoing peace and reconciliation.
Give them a deep trust in you and wisdom as they share the light of the gospel
with the women and families they care for, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
