United in Prayer
‘May the God who gives endurance and encouragement
give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,
so that with one mind and one voice you may
glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ’
(Romans 15:5,6).
Isn’t it painful when friends or family fall out and refuse to talk with each other?
The Bible tells us that if we wish God to hear our prayers,
we need to forgive each other as he has forgiven us even though at times this is hard.
Especially amongst Christians, we are to think of each other
with the grace of God and join together ‘with one mind and one voice’.
Question for thought:
Am I in unity with my sisters and brothers so that together we may pray?
Gracious Lord, we pray for Sheran Harper and the Worldwide Trustees
particularly Pamela Abana Trustee of Zone C
(Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia, Australia, Melanesia, Papua New Guinea).
May she have wisdom in her relationships across the Zone
as she supports and encourages the different provinces.
