Of the whole Old Testament, there is hardly a passage more famous than Psalm 23 – and with good reason.
It captures in just a few words the very heart of our relationship with God.
It is certainly worth learning off by heart and frequently meditating on it.
In these devotions, we move from sentence to sentence of the Psalm,
thinking about what it means for us and what it will mean for us.

How beautiful the love that women give,

How strong the faith that women share,

How gentle the hands of women prayer,

How precious is the time in which we live.

These are the words, written by Mary Sumner House, that Laurel Brook
has kept close to her heart since she found them in a greeting card many years ago.
