Transformation

You may remember the time when you experienced a change in yourself.
It may have been sudden – while you were having a discussion and against
all habit of continuing to argue because you had the facts and knew you were right, but you stopped.
You let go of being seen to be right. It actually didn’t matter in the great scheme of things.
Being right with God is what was more important and needed more work.
Or it may have been a slow realisation that you were now noticing sunsets and the grandeur of trees.
Or you may have made a deliberate move to alter an attitude,
bias by learning, talking, a general openness to work for change.
All are Gifts from God, Movements of the Spirit.

And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror,
are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another;
for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18

Mothers’ Union Democratic Republic of Congo is starting a new 3 year project
to reduce gender-based violence through literacy and agriculture training.
During MULOA and with years of working with vulnerable women,
illiteracy was identified as the main barrier to moving out of poverty.
May God‘s blessing pour upon Community Transformation through Literacy and Agriculture (CTLA).
